Learn to tell your brand's story on video - and actually make one. One full day of hands-on training covering brand storytelling, scripting, filming and editing, using nothing but your smartphone. You'll leave with a finished video and the skills to keep making them.

  • The principles behind video that actually connects: setup-problem-solution, hook theory, and what makes people stop scrolling. We break down real examples so you understand exactly what you're trying to replicate.

  • How to find stories worth telling in your everyday business life. We cover the "document, don't create" approach, how to reframe the ordinary into compelling content, and how to adapt trends to your brand without losing your identity.

  • Writing scripts, planning shots, and building a story with a beginning, middle and end. We cover hook writing, the use of conflict and resolution, and how to structure a video that feels natural to watch and easy to make.

  • How to film yourself and others with confidence. Eye line, framing, delivery, changing location between lines of your script, and how to direct someone who's never been on camera before.

  • How to think like a filmmaker: what b-roll is, how to shoot it with purpose, and how to use visuals to support and deepen your narrative rather than just fill the gaps.

  • This is where it gets real. We use the lunch session to go out and shoot the video you've scripted and planned in the morning. You'll come back with footage ready to cut.

  • Getting started in CapCut or Instagram's native editor: importing clips, understanding the timeline, trimming, reordering, and making your first cut.

  • Assembling your edit: text, captions, music, voiceovers and effects - used with intention. Then polish, export, and publish. You leave with a finished video.

This isn't a sit-and-listen workshop. From the moment you arrive, you're creating. But more than what you make on the day, you'll leave with a complete skill set: the strategy, the storytelling, the filming and editing techniques that you can keep applying to grow your brand and your audience long after the session ends.

Everything you learn is grounded in real business content creation and with Instagram and TikTok growth in mind. You'll walk away knowing exactly how to develop fresh, eye-catching videos that feel natural on the platforms you're growing, and with the confidence to keep doing it.

Strategy, ideas & scripting
Content strategy for your specific business, idea generation, and writing your first hook and script. Lunch break at 12:30.
13:30 — 16:00
Film & edit your first video
Camera technique, lighting, filming your content, then editing it using Edit by Instagram. Everyone leaves with a finished video.
16:00 — 17:00
Publish & plan
Post your content live, build your 4-week content plan, and get your questions answered. There's always time at the end for the stuff on your mind.
